Hi, I’m Bill Li (大彪 · libiao).

My story doesn’t start in Silicon Valley. It starts in a migrant school in Guangdong, where I first touched a computer in the 5th grade and never looked back.

Hustle wasn’t a choice — it was survival. Factory floors as a teenager. Twelve-hour shifts at a restaurant door. Every spare hour spent reading computer books and teaching myself to code.

Ten years later I was leading engineering teams at some of the top AI unicorns, shipping systems used by millions.

Two years ago, I walked away from a senior leadership seat at one of those unicorns — stock options, title, and everything that comes with it — not because I had to. Technology is merely the “How.” I wanted to find my “Why.”

Today I’m building two products solo from Beijing:

  • PainHunt — validate any startup idea in 10 seconds, by mining 90,000+ real-world complaints from Reddit, Hacker News, and beyond
  • Enterprise Document AI (launching Q4 2026) — GraphRAG-powered document intelligence for compliance-heavy industries

Mission: $10M ARR. Powered by one conviction — great products should reduce human friction, give people their time back, and help them live happier lives.

What I believe

  • Sovereign leverage beats employed leverage. AI + code + content = a team of one.
  • Compound interest applies to skills, relationships, and brand — not just money.
  • The 4-hour workweek is a lie. The 80-hour leveraged week is real.
